"The Gift of Giving" Reggie Cyr and his 5th graders from Canada

Hi my name is Alde_C. and what I am talking about today is giving gifts.

If I were to give a gift to someone I would give it to my Aunt Diane. The reason I would give it to my Aunt Diane is because she is almost blind and she can barley walk.

If I was to give another gift to someone would give it to my best friends Kristen, Kaleh, Keely, Kournty,Elychia, and Shelby. The reason I would give it to Kristen is because she is always on my side, why I would give a gift to Kaleh, Keely, Kournty, Elychia, and Shelby is because since I moved here they have been my friend.

Well I hope this response has changed your mind for giving gifts.

Today we are doing an assignment fr Marsa Goren's Global Dreamer Site. We have been asked to respond to the assignment "The Gift of Giving!" I will be writing about what gift I would give, and to whom would give it to.

Have you ever got a gift? It's awesome! There are three main gifts. The gift of surprise, The gift of friendship, and the gift of love. This month there will be Christmas presents so that's a gift!

I would give my gift to the people in Afghanistan fighting for our freedom. I would give my gift to them because they are making a big sacrifice. When I am older I would like to protect my country by going to the war. I want to go to the war because I think that is what I have to do. I am not sure if other people think like me and want to go to war when they grow up, but that is what I want to do. I fine it is really sad for the man and the woman who don't want to go to war, but they have to. Well I hope everyone that reads this is impressed and this is the end of my story.

Maybe I could, I would give hope to the kids of Iraq so they can have food and be in a neither better place.. Well the gift I would give is life to animals that have past away by cruel, dark, poaching or hurtful torture. I would give it to animals that past away sadly, and cruelly by poaching because I think its cruel to kill animals for fun, greed, or by poaching endangered animals. But my favorite animal is a Timber Wolf. But gifts aren't always things that come in a box or wrapping it can be the best thing in the world LOVE. Wow the gift of giving is a very good thing to do because a gift isn't a thing that you might get all the time so when you get a gift you should cherish the gift that you get from the loving person.

I would give my gift to my grandfather. If I was going to give a gift to him it would be because he has been very nice time over the years so he deserves to have something that he will be happy for. As I walked in my house down the dark hallway, I snuck in my parents room and put a big wrapped up gift with a huge red bow, on my parents soft bed. I also left a note saying you are my favorite people in the world.

I would give my parents a gift because they were there for me all my life. Another person I would give a gift to is my teacher Mr.Cyr because he helps me with work so I can make it to the 6th grade. One other person I would give a gift to is my friends because they were by my side when I was hurt, sad, and more. Thats the people I would give a gift to! Kristen

If I was going to give someone a gift it would be my mom and dad. I would give my mom peace, and my dad freedom. I would do that because I find that together they are at peace and freedom in my life. I love them with all my heart.

Hi my name is Logan H.. Do you know that you don’t only get gifts just for Christmas.? You could give a gift to someone that deserves one. What I mean by deserves is someone that could of done something nice for you so you could give them a gift. If I would give a gift to someone it would be my best friend Joey because he always got my back when I need help.

"Wholly cow!” I don’t know about you but if I could give a gift to anyone in the world it would be to the poor. The gift would be the most delicious meal in the world potatoes, turkey and delish stuffing.

Well I love doing these personal responses. This is my personal response for today. Listen! If I had a chance to give a gift so wonderful to somebody I would. I would probably give them the gift they always dreamed of having. Well I'm here to tell you about who I want to give the gift to and what I want to give them.

The person who I pick is my mom! If my mom ever needed to get breast implants because she has breast cancer I would give her the money because I love her. That is what I would give her. If I could give anther gift to someone or something I would give it to stray animals because in the winter time they don't have a home. I would do that so they are not freezing in the winter and they have someone to snuggle up to.
