I would give something artistic that I made myself to my mom. She is thinking of signing me up to an art class, so I think I will be able to do that one year. For example: Last year, on my sister's birthday, I gave her a jewelry box with a cat's head on the lid. She still has it, and she keeps it away from the sun so it won't melt. She keeps most of her necklaces there, but she has so many it's hard to tell. Anyway, I think that a homemade gift (preferably a figurine, or a small statue) would be a wonderful gift for my mom. But also, I might use my savings to buy her a small gift. For example: on Rosh Hashanah I bought her a little box to put her watch and small things because she doesn't want to lose them. It has a moon and a few tiny stars painted on it. When I gave it to her, I put a round blue gumball in it. I won the gumball at an arcade which I went to the very same day.

The tree is like a parent to the boy. Parents give and give and give until they have nothing left.
