If I could share one thing with anyone, it would be world peace. My first reason is that there is a war going on. Secondly, there are all those shootings. Also there are bullies who pick on weaker children. Finally, so that no one else gets hurt, I want peace. This is the one gift I wish I could share with everyone. Brad |
If I had one thing to share, I would share a trip to a resort. I would like to share it with a special family I know. They have six children and this limits the things they can do. If I shared this vacation, they would be able to travel and enjoy a wonderful time with their family. Sean | If I could sare anything with anyone, I would share my love of the outdoors with people who litter and pollute the environment. I think this is a gift because nature makes me happy and maybe it would stop the other people from harming it. If people stopped littering, the world would be a lot cleaner, and everyone would be happier. Alex | |||
| If I could give one gift to someone, I would give it to my Grandmother. I would give her the gift of a strong back. A few years ago, she fell down the stairs in her house and broke her back. She now cannot do the things that she used to love to do. She used to love playing tennis, cleaning, and picking up her grandchildren. She still can do many things, but there are many things she can not do. Erin | If I could share a gift with anyone in the world, I would give the soldiers in Iraq the gift of security. My father was in Iraq and he came home safe. I would just like that for all the families whose parents or spouses are in the military. I want them to all be safe. If everyone felt safe, the world would be a better place. That is the gift I wish I could give to everyone. Maria | If I could five one gift, it would be for my Mom and Dad. I would give them a quilt that I would make. Each patch would be different and have pictures of all the joyful things in like. There would be pictures of me, my sister and the rest of the family. I choose this gift because it would remind them of all the wonderful memories of our family. It would also keep them warm at night and they could take it with them wherever they went. So preserve all these memories, I would give this to my parents. Clara | ||||
| If I had one gift to share with anyone in the world, I would give the gift of education to a poor child in need. The education would really open up new paths for this child in later life. The child could become a doctor or a teacher. Think about all the people in the third world countries. What future do those people have? An education gives them hope of a better future. Maura | If I had the gift of food, clothing, shelter and family, I would give it to anyone who needed it. So many people have no food. They starve because there is no food. Lots of people have not clothing or shelter for cold winter nights. Everyone deserves the gift of family. Many people have no one to go to for help, to consult problems with, and to love. It is so unfair that so many people must go without these gifts. If I were able to give these gifts, I would. Amelia | If I had one gift to share, I would get a computer for my Dad. Why? He loves to surf the web. He also likes to watch movies on the computer. The computer would, of course, have a DVD player. He also loves to play games. That is why I would choose this gift. | If I could have anything in the world, I would like to have a cure for diabetes. I would give this gift to my best friend, Hunter. He has had diabetes since he was three years old. He uses an insulin pump all the time. When Hunter comes to my house, we always have to be really careful and make sure his blood sugar is what it should be. I would love for Hunter not to have to worry about his diabetes, and keep him from having any complications in the future. Ian | If I had one gift to share, I would give a warm home and a family to a homeless man that walks around our town. I would hare this gift with him because he needs a home and a family. I hope he has a nice Christmas. I also hope this man receives this gift. Jadee | If I had one thing to share, I would share peace with the world. Then there would be less fighting. Also there would be no arguing between our family and friends. It would make the world a better place. Paul | ||||
| If I could give any gift to anyone in the world, I would give a college scholarship to my sponsored child and friend, Rose Ann. I give eighteen dollars a month to help her and her family. She lives in the Philippines with her mother and her sister. I really wish I could give this gift to her because she is a great person and deserves a chance at college. That is why I would give her this gift. Darby | If I could give one gift to someone, I would give the ability to talk with animals to my sister Sarah. I would give this to her for a few reasons. One reason is because she is very nice. I would also give this to her because she love animals. This ability would allow her to help them when they are sick or hurt. Another reason I would give this to her is she often plays what I want, even if she doesn’t really like it. That is why I would give the ability to talk to animals to my sister. Matt | If I could give one gift to the world, it would be world peace. I would choose that because everyone could come home for the holidays. Mothers wouldn’t have to send their children to war. Wives wouldn’t have to say “good bye” to their husbands, and children wouldn’t miss their parents. The world would be a much better place if we could all get along. Mason | ||||
