My feelings about Udi Goldwasser

I think it’s a tragedy because we got Udi and Eldad dead after we gave the Hezbollah something like 200 prisoners. But we Udi and Eldad were sent back to Israel and this is the good but sad part of the whole story.

Udi  and Eldad  were both  dead, and they probably died earlier from their wounds after their army jeep was attacked in the Lebanon’s 2nd war.

When I heard that I was on the bus to the summer scout camp, my group and I found that on the internet, we were disappointed because we hoped they were alive as did everyone in Israel.

I think that it is terrible what happened to him and to his family.
He was in captivity 735 days and nobody knew if he lived or died.
He was a good man and just wanted to guard his country and he paid for this with his life.

I wanted a happy ending
But you are not here.
You are in a high place
 A special place
 In the sky.

I want you back
But you can’t come
You wanted to live
But lost it all.
You did not deserve it.
You need to be here
With us.  

Udi, we will remember you forever.
