On February 7th, 2010, Marsha Goren was given special recognition by the city of Petach Tikva for her outstanding work with Globaldreamers. Marsha was one of three people recognized by the municipality for her global collaboration award from the European School net in Lithuania in November 2009 and also from the Global Junior Challenge of Rome in October 2009. The principal of the Naomi Shemer School and her teacher Karine Battat were also recognized for winning the worldwide Innovative School award in Brazil this year and Michal Gridenger a former student of Ein Ganim School and now from Echad HaAm High School received the recognition for winning the Ilan and Asaf Ramon award for her contribution to society and education.It was indeed a heartwarming and unique evening.
