Dear Friends,

Hope this message finds you well. I am receiving an award from the Ministry of education in Israel for my work. It is called a Teacher who made a difference in English teaching. There are four districts in Israel and in each district one educator is chosen from elementary school , junior high and high school. I was chosen from the elementary school section in the central district. It is a huge honor and everyone at my school is very excited!!
The head supervisor called to tell me and said they are overwhelmed with what I am doing for English teaching and technology! The kids are also very excited about this and I wanted to share this wonderful news with all of you.
Right now we have put up some information about Purim our Jewish Halloween. You can see it on share:

Hoping to hear from all of you soon.
With much friendship,
Marsha Goren

Dear Educators and friends,
I want to thank all of the wonderful educators and so many kids who took part in our fall project. It is just gorgeous and thank you all so much.

We are now in the holiday season and Chanukah is on December 5th and we will be off for a week. Our next project is in honor of Christmas , Chanukah and all of the holidays we celebrate during this joyous season. This beautiful lesson can be an inspiration to all of us and to the kids around the world. Please send us stories the kids write after having read and heard this beautiful story. We would love pictures of Christmas trees, of Chanukah, animations, banners, drawings , movies of your classes and even singing.
Let us all continue sharing our dreams and the joy of these wonderful holidays together.

My 5th graders have written about Chanukah in the Jewish holidays.
There are also some great materials there you can show the kids.
Looking forward to hearing from all of you and wishing everyone joy and happiness for the coming holidays.
I have also started a blog on my site. It is on the main page.

Hello friends!
I am writing to tell you all I had a fantastic trip to Rome and I also met special friends Lieven from Belguim and Maria Teresa of Italy. It was so wonderful spending time with both of them.I met so many wonderful new friends from around the globe and many people were so amazed at what we all do together to make our world a better place.

Lieven and Maria Teresa both received awards from the Global Junior Challenge and I am so proud of both of them. I was on the international jury and it was an honor and a privilege. You can see pics from my wonderful trip which included being a guest at the honorable President of the Italian Republic Girogio Napalitani. It was so exciting!!

We will be returning to school on Sept. 2nd, the Jewish holidays begin on September 12th and we will celebrate the Jewish new year.
It was a great summer for me and the rest did me a lot of good.
