July 30 To read about the
judges: http://www.gjc.it/2006/en/giurati_2007.php I wish to congratulate Lieven from Belguim for making it to the finalist list! Good luck!! I also wanted to tell you about the Global Virtual Classroom competition. It is a great way to work with kids if you would like to collabobarate and make friends around the world. For the last two years my kids have taken part and enjoyed the experience very much. You can
read about it here : I've participated in it with my students for two years now. I'll tell you it is really a lot of work, but also rewarding when you have good partners and the kids make friends with them. You would have to be able to devote the time and
have a little idea of how to make a web page... and have very hard working
kids. It is very rewarding in so many ways so if you are interested have
a look and good luck! Keep the dreams
rolling! June 27, 2007 Dear educators and friends, The
kids and I are going on vacation tomorrow until September 1st, however
educators who are still teaching kids are invited to send materials for
share. We are still able to add to the postcard project which is really
awesome with so many of the schools sending beautiful materials. This
is a link to the continuous projects and we invite you take part if you
wish, those who are still at school and able to welcome! The kids and I have also prepared
a summer link for goodbyes, if any of the educators or kids are interested
in writing we will be delighted to add to our materials. In addition the new
6th grade class who will lead Globaldreamers had a Beatle's evening with
me this week. We have also made a movie and schools interested may contact
me so we may send them out to the classes who are interested in seeing
our show and meeting the kids and me. Have a look it is really adorable! I wish to thank you all

Thank you all so much.Meeting Janet and Nicki at their schools was incredible!! Upon my return the war was still going on and unfortunately one of the girls in my class lost her Dad in Lebanon and it was a devestating experience for all of us. Seeing four young children lose their wonderful Dad literally broke my heart. We mourn for all loved ones on all sides who have lost family and friends. I pray the normality will return to our lives as we return to school on Septmember 3rd. I also have some good news! Geoff Kaye of Australia has
sponsored Globaldreamers and added a sound room called Discovere. It
is awesome and teachers will be able to have kids meet online and talk
to each other, draw to each, write to each other, upload files and presentations
and much more! Teachers interested will receive a password from me. Take
advantage of this awesome tool on Globaldreamers at: I look forward to working with all of you and
so do the kids. Sincerely, August 1, 2006 First of all I wish to thank all of the educators who have been writing to see how the kids and I are doing during these difficult days in Israel. Thank God, for now we have not been in the missle or rocket range and pray it will continue, however we are saddened by our fellow citizens and friends who live in the northern part of Israel and are suffering so badly. We mourn every life that is lost by our soldiers and innocent civilians. We mourn deaths of all innocent people everywhere. I have just
returned from an incredible experience in the USA. I participated in
the NECC conference in San Diego, California and received the GSN
award and it was so exciting. You may read about my diary on the site under
the travelling dreamer. The workshops I atttended were wonderful and the exhibition hall really blew me away!! It was an unforgettable experience. I also visited my friend Janet's school in Oak Park and Nicki's school in Waterbury, Connecticut. It was great spending time with two dream partners and friends. On a personal note I also spent time with my family and it was wonderful. I came back feeling proud of this special trip. I am very happy that many educators are writing that they will continue dreaming with us this year again. It is heartwarming especially in these difficult days and it gives me hope for a better future for all of the children in our project. Kindest regards and please keep in touch.
