The project diary: 6th Grade Class at Ein Ganim Israel

It was a few months ago,
We started our unit on Petach Tikva,
Everyone had a mission to fulfill with care.
We collected materials girls and boys alike
And we added a few banners to give it more spike.

We wrote about our city from the past, present and future.
We wanted to show the world that our sixth grade could teach you,
To learn about the wonderful place we live
And this is the gift we will give to all who visit our site,
We have ended our task and we know it feels right.

We invite people around the world,
To see our work and be heard,
We thank you for visiting us and our project team,
The work is now over; things are not always the way they seem.

Our love for our city and country is truly real,
We hope you will all understand how we feel!
The 6th graders at Ein Ganim Israel

The diary: Sapir
In the project I helped Marsha with a few things. I interviewed my Dad-he is a doctor and took part in many decisions with my classmates.

In the project we all helped Marsha. It is our website and we all wanted to make the website as good as possible because when other people from other places in the world see the website they should think that we are representing our country in honor and dignity.

My diary: Yarden
For the project I interviewed my father about his past and what he did when he was young, I scanned some pictures for Marsha and I was interviewed about basketball.

In the project everyone in the class contributed something, some interviewed people some made logos and some drew beautiful pictures.

Diary: Yahrin
I made a nice animation with Photoshop. It was about the dreams and it was about the moon. Iıve interviewed my father and he told me about his childhood and about what the city looked like before I was born, he told me about his friends too. He told me about the things they used to play with in those days.

I called Sarah Oren the city council member and I interviewed her, about what she thinks about our city and what she thinks about the future that was very fascinating. Iıve learned about the city council during this interview and about their opinions.

I made work about the past of Ein-Ganim, it was about the people who founded it and how it looked when it was founded, now I know a lot about Ein-Ganim things I didnıt knew before. Iıve done a work about recommended places in Petach Tikva too, like the mall the culture hall and a lot more. This project taught us a lot about the past of our city and the past of our school, now I know what was here in my city before I was born. And I practiced my Photoshop working too. I was fascinated to do this work and be a part of building the web site.

Diary: Talia S.
In the project I studied and researched about the past and the future. What was then and what will happen in the future. I asked my father what it was like when he was a child and imagine what will happen in many years.

I also drew pictures for the site about the different web pages with my friends. We met on the weekend and worked together. Then we scanned our work and sent it to be uploaded by our classmates. The process was interesting and different.

I loved this project very much.

I hope that we will do more projects like this in the future.
Good bye,
Talia S.
