Interview with the principal of Ein Ganim School.

Q. How many years have you been in this school?

A. I have been working in this school 19 years but I have been the principal for 8 years.

Q. Why do you want to manage an elementary school? Why did you choose this school?

A. I chose to manage this school because I was a member of the staff for many years and felt I could contribute by being the principal.

Q . How old is this school?

A. This school is now 40 years old.

Q . In the school there are many pupils, how can you organize yourself to suit the needs of everyone?

A. I know the pupils in this school from the very beginning when they begin their studies in the 1st grade, I know that there are different pupils and I talk to them, but there are rules the pupils know. If any one breaks the rules we punished them.

Q. What does this school "stand out" in?

A. This school "stands out" in our treatment with the pupils and our educational values. The atmosphere is pleasant for the staff and the children because of this environment.

Q. What do you think about our project?

A. In the Ministry of Education there is a rule that say that the pupils need to learn Technology and with this project you learn how to use the technology with the language but more than this the children learn about 'peace' and the subject of making friends with children around the world. These are values that encourage tolerance and global collaboration. These projects have a special place in our school.
