Cherry Cake recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup butter or margarine (softened)
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 can cherry pie filling

Directions:

  1. - put butter and sugar in
  2. - add and mix eggs one at a time and add vanilla
  3. - add and stir flour a little at a time
  4. - spread butter and flower on a 10 X 15 baking pan
  5. - evenly spread batter into pan- lightly score into 20 squares
  6. - drop a spoonful of cherry pie filling into the center of each square
  7. - bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes
  8. - (optional) when finished sprinkle powdered sugar on it
