Nathan's Apple Crisp Recipe

Ingredients:

4 apples-preferably 2 tart, like granny smith, and 2 sweet, like fuji. Apples should be peeled and chopped.

Topping:
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup rolled oats
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, or 1 stick
2 tablespoons chopped almonds

Vanilla ice cream (trust me-GREAT with apple crisp)-optional

To begin, preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, mix the butter, almonds, sugar, cinnamon, flour, and rolled oats.

Making sure that the apples are peeled and made into slices, put them into a pie dish or any sort of oven dish, making sure that the apples fill 2/3 of the pan.

Then sprinkle the other mixture (the topping) you made over the apples.

Now you are ready to put it in the oven. Leave it there about 55 minutes, or at least until the topping becomes nice and crispy; a golden-brown color.

Yeah! You did it! Now you can enjoy your delicious treat, and I suggest with a side of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
