BigosSauerkraut herbs First, cut the sauerkraut into smaller pieces. Then, boil it in a big saucepan with some herbs. Cook the meat in a spearate saucepan. Fry it till it becomes tender. Cut the sausages into little cubes and cook together with the sauerkraut. When the meat’s cooked, cut into cubes as well and add to the other ingredients. Remember to pour in the meat juices as well. You can add some herbs or tomato puree. Then cook it all together for the next 2 or 3 hours and stir from time to time. Serve it hot with some bread. Natalia |
