California Rolls

Ingredients

  1. Rice
  2. Vinegar
  3. Sugar
  4. Nori (the seaweed sushi is rolled in)
  5. Imitation Crab meat, avocados, cucumbers (or whatever you want to put in your sushi)

Materials

  1. Large Bowl
  2. Bamboo roller
  3. Plate and knife
  4. Rice Maker

Recipe

Step One- Make the rice. As soon as your done making the rice add sugar and rice vinegar.

Step Two- Put the rice in a bowl, and put water in a bowl. Put your fingers in the water and spread the sushi on the seaweed in a thin layer, leaving about an inch at the bottom end.

Step Three- Cut up what you want in your sushi into long thin strips. For California Rolls that would be imitation crab meat, cucumber and avocado. Spread it in a line in the middle.

Step Four- Roll the sushi. Make one circle over the stuff in the inside, shape it into a circle, and then do the rest.

Step Five- After you rolled the sushi, cut it into about one inch pieces. Some people eat sushi with wasabi, or soy sauce, or just plain.
