Remember

Many people that passed away in horrible death camps will be remembered. They weren’t perfect and neither was Hitler. What he did will affect the lives of many people. I am glad to say he was defeated. I myself have written a poem by looking back on what I learned and remembering what happened.

Taking time to remember those who passed away
Knowing we’ll still love them each and every day
So much harm and so much pain
To people that were more than plain
We all know they’ll be remembered, because of who they are
Their deaths stuck in our hearts like thick black tar
No matter what they’ll always be special as we know
It is now time to say the white dove has beaten the evil black crow

The evil past made us have a different present where the billions of people didn’t want to forget. In the 1940’s, almost every Jew died and families were separated. That made me very sad. All the Jews were sent to a concentrated camp where they were treated badly. That made me feel very sad.
Reflections of a Tragedy

Ever since the fifth grade I have herd of a horrible tragedy, the Holocaust. It had to be horrible for all those innocent Jews and other people who had to suffer through that horrible time. Those who survived I feel sorry for and glad for them at the same time. I feel sorry for them because the horrible memories that they went through, and glad because they spread the word to the generations still to come of people. We spread the word and so something like this will never happen again. Jess D.

The Holocaust was a terrible time of death. Every time I think about the Holocaust I see children dying and people suffering a great loss and pain. It is hard to believe people like you and me were killed just because of their race. God’s children died because they were different. Every time I see a picture of people in the concentration camps with their sad face I feel the urge to cry for them. I can’t even bare to think about their pain. This is why it is really important to teach students around the world about the Holocaust to prevent it from happening again. What I think about the Holocaust

Now that I know about the holocaust.  I hate that it happened. Millions of people died and it is very sorrowful fro everyone. I wouldn’t be able to handle anything that the Jews went through. I think all of the Jews were strong. I do not want anything like this to happen again I thing everyone should know the history of the holocaust, because its such an important event that happened long ago, and I also think that everyone learns from mistakes and I would hat for it to happen again. I know that in Israel that they have an memorial called Sho’ah. I think everyone should have a memorial because it’s a world issue, and it’s very sad.

Holocaust Reflection

When it happened, it usually didn’t bring up as much attention as it does today. I am talking about the near complete genocide of all Jews, religions and other practices, the plan of world domination that could have actually been fulfilled, a brainwashed society that would be claimed perfect in the eyes of Hitler and most Germans. If you don’t already know it’s the holocaust. It could happen again, but not only one race, like the Jews, it could be Mexicans or African Americans! Think if it happened to you, and all others of your race or religion. It wouldn’t be good at all. That is why we are learning about the Jews and holocaust to prevent it from ever happening again. We have to do research of our politics, religions, and other things to keep us from making a mistake like back then. It could be worse though, we have new technology and bigger weapons and much knowledge that could be used for all the wrong things. If we can learn the signs of dictatorship or other bad things, we can learn how to prevent it, by leading us away from evil.

The Holocaust was a tragic event that nearly killed all Jewish people in Germany. Hitler’s evil plan to wipe out the Jews and create an Arian race was scary and deranged. The Jews were hated not because of there religion but merely cause they were simply Jewish. The pain the Nazis caused is indescribable, but now we must make sure a tragedy as horrible as this never happens again. Adolph N.
