Shadowing the Holocaust
Millions of Jews suffered to death,
Suffered to take their very last breath,
Always to remember the Yom HaShoah1,
Don’t forget to show all!
Reach out and tell all of them,
Blonde haired, blue eyed, Hitler’s little gem.
Don’t ever forget what happened in the past,
Make the memory last!

The Holocaust

Soaking in the mendacious promises Adolf Hitler declared, nobody knew a horrific period of mass murder would soon begin. Nobody paid any mind to the crimes the Nazis committed unless they were happening upon themselves. Nobody came to help when large parts of the world were about to be controlled by murderers of the innocent.
I believe the Holocaust was a test. In the beginning we all failed by ignoring the obvious clues of what was happening to our world. We eventually went back and tried to erase and correct our mistakes. We can’t take back the Holocaust, but only remember the victims, and learn from our mistakes of not sticking together and letting others suffer. Even though you try and erase a mistake the marks will always faintly be there. The holocaust victims will always be remembered to the highest respects for there sacrificial lesson they taught the world.

A Life Changing Event

Evil is the word that comes to my mind when I think of the Holocaust. It was a time of hatred towards people who weren’t thought to be the “perfect race.” We can not let what happened in the 1940’s happen to out society again. By educating people, we can prevent someone like Hitler and something like the Holocaust from happening again.

Remember

Remember, we all just can’t forget. The families torn by hate and war, just to quench one man’s thirst for control.
Remember, the blood shed because of differences.
It is the differences that we need to forget and simply remember so this will never happen again. It is the differences that make us one, so consider them a blessing not a crime.

The Holocaust is the worst memory many hold. Loved ones were lost, families were separated, and people were mistreated. People learn from their mistakes. Hitler wanted to make the perfect race by executing others, yet he was not that perfect race. The Holocaust was, in my opinion, one of the worst things that ever happened. We cannot let it happen again.

Evading

For generations we’ve tried to gain the memories of the pain and horrific happenings of our ancestors, to no avail. We, as humans, cannot expect to understand something of such magnitude and impact as the Holocaust without witnessing it ourselves. We cannot remember suffering we haven’t endured, nor can we deny those who can, the right to remember. For years we have heard of the events but never been able to listen. We will never be able to grasp what we have only been told of. Forever we can strive for that one, true understanding and forever it will elude us. Our minds can’t absorb such a catastrophic, satanic memorial. In the end, all we may do is want and hope to prevent such an abomination as this.
