In the Holocaust, the Nazis killed the Jewish people at: Gas Chambers, extermination camps and other processes. Many people hide the Jewish peoples, and saved them. We need to thank them. It is important to teach children about the Holocaust because the Holocaust is a terrible and shocking thing and our responsibility is to pass it on to all the next generations so this terrible thing will not return again. In the Holocaust 9 millions people and 6 million of them were Jewish people killed only because they were with a different religion than the Nazis. The Nazis led the people to concentration camps and then they tortured them. They also did horrible experiments on them and killed them in humiliating ways. This war ended when the Americans threw two atom bombs on Hiroshima. WE will never forget the Holocaust at our school. We will never forget because we need to be ready because if someone attacks us, we can protect ourselves. We want to hold our hurt and pride to remember the holocaust survivors and all of the people who died in this shocking event. Ziv P. 6th grade |
