The Holocaust was a horrible time. Millions died in the Holocaust. Some people lived. A person named Hitler started the Holocaust. Hitler said to the Nazis that they were better than any one and that the Jews were smelly and ugly and wanted to rule the world but Hitler wanted to rule the world. He died by suicide. Hitler made a lot of concentration camps. to kill the Jews. Hitler was evil.

The holocaust was a terrible thing that happened to Jews. Jews suffered because of one person. That person's name was Adolf Hitler. He was an evil man who wanted to rule the world. He started off with taking all Jews to concentration camps were they would be killed. It was an evil thing. Adolf Hitler tricked almost all Germans into thinking that the Jews were to blame for their problems. It was a very, very, very, very mean thing that Adolf Hitler did and let's Hope That This evil thing will NEVER EVER happen again.

Tomer's Grandfather

I think that running away like Tomar's grandfather would be hard. It would be hard because he had to leave all of his family behind. He was lucky to have his mother remaining. His grandfather worked in Romania. He must have been really scared when the Nazis tried to kill the Jewish. I bet he was happy that the Jewish didn't let the Nazis kill them. They did something different to work. The Romanian people were corrupt. Corrupt means that he would pay money instead of doing work. Tomar's grandfather had a good and active life when he was free. Tomar's grandfather was brave and I think Tomar will be too.
