While we remember the holocaust and the people that died during it, we also now have to look at other places in the world that have been going through hard times as well. Africa is a place that has had starving people for years. Not just one of the countries, but almost all of them. Some children in Africa have been starved so much that their arm can fit through a hole that you can make between your thumb and your index finger.

Money has been donated and given to African countries through our government, but the problem is that their governments are so corrupt that the money goes to the wrong place. Our government here in America believes that every time we send money to the African governments, it is helping the starving people. However they keep it for themselves, or give it to the wealthy people.

What we actually need to do is give our money to charities in America that will not give it to the African governments, but to the actual starving people in Africa. You can do this by phone or online, and even a little money goes a long way.
