This Train Revised The song had symbolic elements that bring out the meaning of it. It also expressed how the Jews felt The symbolic elements were what this song symbolizes. It shows what the Jews, Gypsies (hippies), and homosexuals went through and what they experienced. The Nazis wanted a perfect world, and to make it perfect, they did what they wanted, the Holocaust. The feeling of the people (Jews, Gypsies, and Homosexuals) is also an important thing to know in this song. They were scared of what would happen to them. They were hoping the Nazis were going to be the least bit kind to them. They wonder if they'll make it through the tough times that were to come. They were sad to leave their homes and to leave what they have come to know and love, knowing they probably could never do what they wanted in life. A lot of people had a dream in that disaster and wanted to achieve that goal in life, but never had a chance. Athletes with no legs, cooks with no arms, and life could have gone great for them. Many people had chances in life to do what they wanted, but their rights and way of life were taken from them. Life is something they cherished, but it didn't become so for many innocent lives.
