The Holocaust was a horrible event in recent history.Hitler, the leader of the Nazis, hated Jews and many other people.Hitler sent soldiers to capture the Jews and throw them in concentration camps.By the end of World War II, millions of Jews and other ethnic groups had lost their lives in these camps. However, we can learn from this terrible event that we should never let an evil person rise to power. We listen carefully to people who want to be our leaders and chose wisely. Andrew The Holocaust teaches us to be aware of the ever present evil in the world. It also reminds us of the millions of lives lost because of the hatred in some human beings. We should value all lives in the world regardless of their race, religion, or political thoughts. The Holocaust teaches us that we should fully accept one another. We should stay strong and never forget what happened. There is more than one thing we can learn from the Holocaust. We can learn not to discriminate against people because of the color of their skin, their religion, or any other reason. We can learn that people with power can do terrible things. These actions can change the world. We can also learn to be nice to everyone, not just the people like us.Furthermore, we can learn to stand for what is right. This would prevent something as devastating as the Holocaust ever happening again I think many people died in the Holocaust for no reason. A corrupt group came into power, and decided to purify the human race. This meant that only the stereotypical person would be treated well. But, even if you were the stereotype, if you were Jewish, or even had a grandparent who was Jewish, you would be put in the concentration camps. These were horrible places with poor living conditions.Your parents and friends could just disappear. I think it is a good thing that it is over, and I hope something like that will never happen again. I do not agree with anything the Nazis did during the Holocaust. It was all very cruel and very wrong. There is nothing wrong with the Jewish religion. But we can learn a lot from the Holocaust, such as who Adolf Hitler was. What was the Nazi Party and why were they killing Jews and other innocent people? Also, what was going through their very disturbed minds when they started the Holocaust?Once again I have to say the Nazis had no right to kill these innocent people and if this ever happens again we all need to do something right away. |
