Why
you think that person is courageous?
I think
Danuta is a courageous person because she risked her life for others,
she was kind hearted, and she thought that humansÕ lives are more important
than property, and she sacrificed her property for the Nazis wouldnÕt
kill Jews.
What
is courage? Is it fighting to stay alive against all odds? Is it
being
Willing
to die for someone or something?
Courage
is not to be afraid to save somebody elseÕs lives, even if you have
to sacrifice your own life or property. I think courage is to be able
to stand in front of your big enemy, so you could save others, without
thinking about that you could get killed in you way. Courage is when
you are not afraid to do something that hurts you, if you save otherÕs
life.
List
at least three reasons why this person is courageous:
1. Danuta
wasnÕt afraid to risk her life to save other people when she hid them
in her house.
2. She
paid the Germans with her fatherÕs gold, and prevented the Germans
from killing the Jews Š and the bribery helped.
3. She
established a factory to help Jews, and the Nazis didnÕt kill them.
