Many people had to leave all their possessions as they tried to leave before the Nazi's caught them and put them in a concentration camp. The lucky ones had a cart or horse; many walked. Some were found; some escaped. There were lots of good people who tried to help, hiding families in their homes. If they were caught it was bad for them, but they would risk it because they thought what was happening was wrong.

As you escape from the maze think of what you could do if someone were a target of prejudice because of who they were, or what they looked like.
