(While all students created a time capsule, only a few will be shared. The objective here was to show a range of creations.)

Rubric for grading

In my photo collage, the background is a Picasso painting that we have in our house that I really like. In the top left corner, I have the Chicago Tribune newspaper and the Atlantic magazine because I like to read and the closet with my books in it was too messy to photograph. In the top right corner, I have my backpack and school books because whether I like it or not, school is a big part of my life. In the middle of the collage is a smiley face with a hat on because I like being happy and I like hats. In the middle on the left, I have a pair of shoes, specifically Nike SB Dunk Hi-Tops in the De La Soul color way because I like shoes a lot, specifically Nike SB's and I also like De La Soul. In the middle on the left, is a paint brush because I like all different types of art. Stretched along the bottom of the collage, are my brothers and sister along with my mom and dad because they are a big part of my life. In the bottom left hand part of my collage is one of my favorite skateboarders, Adelmo Jr. because I like skateboarding. And lastly, on the top, in the middle is my tea because I really like having my tea in the morning, especially Black Tea.

These are the things that mean the most to me in my life at this time.

The top left picture is a picture of a lion which is what my name means in Hebrew. Directly below it is a picture of the Little Mermaid, which is a bit of a joke for me because people have said the Ò- like the mermaid?Ó line my whole life, and I always explain to them that no, the Little Mermaid has no significance in my life, so I thought it would be funny to put it in. Below it is a picture of my at my Bat Mitzvah- it was SO much fun, even though it was a lot of work! (All of the pictures of my in a blue dress are from my bat Mitzvah. Right above the picture of me getting lifted in a chair (that was one of my favorite parts, even though it was SOOOO scary) is a picture of my parents Rebekah and Sophie.
