The Holocaust
Memorial week at Ein Ganim included a special study room dedicated to the
Holocaust. A special schedule was made for the children and educators in
order to teach everyone about the world's most horrible disaster.
In additon,
there was a ceremony where the choir sang songs from the Holocaust.
They also read stories about different people from the camps and swore
they would never forget the sacred six million that died at the hands of
the Nazis. The dancing group danced and it was quiet. There was no applause
at this ceremony and no one was happy.
The yellow Jude star which every
Jew wore during the Holocaust was enlarged and the large title said,
We will remember and never forget! This
is our duty and obligation to never let it happen again.
Ein Ganim school
stands united in our pledge to always remember so the next generations
will learn about the evil of mankind and never forget.
