2007 remembrance

Ein Ganim Prepares for the Holocaust Memorial Day 2007. Elana, the coordinator of the gifted program, organized a study room for the school and every year the children study special lessons in a room about the Holocaust. Pictures on the wall are of people from the concentration camps and ghettos, stills of Jewish people in their uniforms from the concentration camps, and the famous yellow Jude star which every Jew was forced to wear by the Natzis. The yellow Jude star was used to humiliate the Jewish people and to identify them easily in order for the Nazis to arrest them and take them to the camps. The map shows Nazi Germany during the war.

A special book exhibition is also here where children can choose stories about children in the camps.
