WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SON?35th regiment in Izmir was going to Gallipoli by train. While the soldiers were singing songs, officer Hakki was looking out of the window. He saw a woman between Izmir and Manisa. Poor old woman was shaking her hand to the soldiers on the train and her other hand was holding the pole of telegram. And she was crying. She was obviously a mother of a soldier.
