TATOO

Dr. Omer Sami Musluoglu was practicing his major at Medical Arts Center in New York in 1957. He saw a Turkish flag tatoo on the arm of his patient while he was examining him. The old patient was an Anzac who fought in Gallipoli.

He was the prisoner of the Turks. He wanted to express his appreciation and gratitude by having a Turkish Flag tatoo on his arm.

‘I have this tattoo not to forget the nobility of the Turks. That’s the mystery of the tatoo.’
