Exciting News for Globaldreamers!

Marsha Goren the dream coordinator of Global dreamers and Amity Waisel, Marsha's former student who still helps Marsha on the site, have been invited to an English summer camp by Rozalija and her students of Slavi Brod, Croatia. Teachers from Poland will also be joining the group at camp. The visit will take place in July.

The olive is one of the Biblical Seven Species, which bless Eretz Israel: "a land of wheat and barley, of vines, figs and pomegranates, and land of olive trees and honey"

The "NGO-Our Children" owns a summer resort for children on the island of Hvar in the southern part of the Adriatic Sea. Hundreds of primary school children spend 10 days there in July and August. Mr Kokanovic, the president, supported the idea to try to make the holiday international. Amity and Marsha are the first they invited to join the camp. Rozalija and Marsha will establish a project with children. The subjects will include lavanda fields, olive trees, local choir singing which is special on that island, history, tourism... Rozalija and her students together with Marsha and Amity will produce a video film "to promote tolerance, understanding and equality among different people.

In addition Marsha and Amity are making powerpoint presentations about olives in Israel as well as information about Eilat and Jerusalem. Global dreamers is already sharing work about olives that was made by Rozalija's and Marsha's students. The children on Hvar will learn and compare about olives from both countires. The flash animations on the opening page were made by Amity Waisel and the olive buttons were designed by Janet Barnstable our special friend.

Rozalija and Marsha share a unique friendship and have been cooperating frequently and often in many areas including the Stage Magazine that Rozalija and her students produce in Croatia. The dream discussion board has contributed in many areas.

Marsha and Rozalija share their customs and holidays and the students from both Israel and Croatia are having a wonderful and exciting experience together.

Marsha and Amity are excited and grateful to Rozalija and her wonderful students for inviting us to come to Hvar. We can not WAIT to see you. We will create many global dreams together that will never be forgotten!
