Welcome to Elena Galitskaya and her students.
We are from Melitopol. Melitopol is situated in the southeast of Ukraine,
not far from the Sea of Azov. It is neither large nor small. Melitopol
is located in the steppe zone. It stands on the picturesque banks of
Molochnaya River. Our city is green and beautiful. Our region is famous
for its historical places. In our region, Cossacks movement began in
the 15th century. It's a glorious page of our history.
Our gymnasium is a specialized educational establishment that gives
an advanced secondary education to pupils from the age of 10 through
17. It is not a big educational establishment, is has 46 persons of
the teaching staff and 561 pupils (5th - 11th). Our curriculum is based
on the profound studying of Mathematics and the humanities. Our gymnasium
follows main tendencies and trends in modern educational process. All
our efforts are aimed at the upbringing of a many - sided developed
personality and enrichment of his inner spiritual culture. We are experiencing
new methods and models of work with children and pay much attention to
teaching the Humanities, especially foreign Languages. The two foreign
languages English and German are taught in our gymnasium. Read

John Paul II in May 2005.
I have been working in Gimnasium no. 2 since 2001 as a school pedagogue.
I like my job very much. The longer I work the more excited it seems
to be. Generally I try to do my best to create a reality of school
more bearable and friendly especially for pupils who haven't enough
love in their families. Students and their families can count for psychological,
social and therapeutic help. I work with students individually but
also in groups.
