Pressentation of global dreamers at The Beit Berl College in Kfar Saba, Israel to future English teachers. General information about the site: By Shiraz Dror: This is an Internet site, which was initiated by an English teacher named Marsha Goren from "Ein- Ganim" elementary school in Petach Tikva. The project that is called "dream a dream with Ein- Ganim" is performed in this site. The site's uniqueness is the fact that it involves the participation of over 70 schools around the world. The general purpose of this project is to encourage tolerance and to teach the importance of a dialog between different counties. However, the pupils' correspondence that takes place on the site, contributes to reading improvement and becoming familiar with cultures, customs and food from various countries. This project had won many awards: the first award was in October 2002- "Ein- Ganim" school received an award for being the most active elementary school in Israel. In addition, the site was awarded several times for its creativity and innovation and for proving commitment to education. The latest award is 2005 Presidential Award for Reading and Technology that the teacher Marsha Goren accepted for her efforts to improve literacy among children. Besides her, only 6 teachers from the USA and one teacher from Canada got the prize of $500.
