Teresa Read and Marsha Goren are special friends who met through the Global Junior Challenge forum. "Shalom from Israel", the WIZ feature about Ein Ganim pupils and their teacher Marsha Goren, was written at the end of the school year. At the beginning of the new year, and with a new class, Marsha and WIZ decided on a collaborative project. With the encouragement of the Global Junior Challenge in Rome "Shalom from Israel" has been extended to bring together the work of Marsha and her partner schools around the world and the work of WIZ, an international educational resource. Together we aim to highlight issues such as cultural diversity and learn from the students about their lives and countries.
