We are the grade 5 class at Calvin Christian School in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We do not have a school cafeteria and therefore all the students need to bring their own lunches. One thing that we do have is a microwave in our class, and so students can heat their lunch if they would like to. We also have a milk program at our school which allows students to order milk and chocolate milk for the month which is then delivered to the school and distributed to the students. We encourage healthy food and beverage choices at our school. Students at our school also have a water bottle with them at their desks. Here are some of the things that we bring to school to eat for lunch:

Emily - My favorite lunch is a ham sandwich with a snack and a fruit.

Perry - My favorite supper is ribs and I have pizza pop for lunch.

Ben V - My favorite lunch is a ham bun and fruit, for snack I like cookies.

Amy - I bring shaved chicken sandwich which is also my favorite.

Matthew - I bring mustard sandwich and sometimes pizza pop. My favorite lunch is pizza and pizza pop.

Shalynn - I bring a sandwich for lunch with meat or cheese I also bring some fruit and a drink.

Scott - My favorite lunch is a jam sandwich with some candy and fruit on the side.

James - My favorite lunch is a cheese and ham sandwich with any kind of candy with fruit on the side.

Elayna - My favorite lunch is Subway subs with chocolate milk and some candy and fruit.

Jesse - What I take for lunch is soup with corn and my favorite lunch is a pizza pop with popcorn.

Kristen - What I bring for lunch is a sandwich, what my favorite lunch is pizza.

Zach - I usually have a sandwich, but my favorite is pizza pop.

Rachel - My favorite lunch is a pizza pop or two. I always bring a sandwich with salami or bologna.

Josh - My favorite lunch is Chinese noodles.  My usually lunch is a tuna sandwich or milk with an apple.

Benjamin - My favorite lunch is pizza pops and chips and a drink, like chocolate milk.

Tanner - My favorite lunch is pizza pops and I usually bring a sandwich.

Meghan - My favorite lunch is pizza but I usually bring a sandwich.

Cameron - My favorite lunch is pizza, hot dogs and a sandwich.

Braeden - My favorite lunch is a pizza pop. I usually have a sandwich.

Randi - My favorite lunch is pizza pop. I usually have a bagel with garlic cream cheese.

Darcy - Sandwich, yogurt, cookies and cheerio mix.

Alex - Sandwich, juice, cookies and a Christmas oranges.
