Ginmazjum nr. 2 Dear Mr. Bagaric, I have great pleasure in inviting teachers and pupils of Osnovna skola «Ivan Goran Kovacic», Slavonski Brod, Croatia, to our programme of the INTERNATIONAL YOUTH EXCHANGE CHORZ·ªöW – SLAVONSKI BROD 2005 The idea of the programme resulted from our cooperation on the 2004 edition of your STAGE magazine. We found it very successful hence the decision to continue and extend our common experience. The programme itself consists of two components: « POLAND – CROATIA: COMPARING COUNTRIES» to be run in Chorz·ªõw in May 2005. and « SLAVONIJA – SILESIA: COMPARING REGIONS», to be run in Slavonski Brod in June 2005 Each component will be executed through a series of workshops, presentations and tours round the regions. The activities mentioned above should help young people from both schools in experiencing a different culture and learning basic facts about Croatia and Poland as well as Slavonija and Silesia. The opportunity for deepened, twenty-four-hour exposition to intercultural exchange and communication in English language, will be enabled by providing accomodation in students homes. Taking all this into consideration, I would like to invite a group of sixteen (eight male and eight female) students of Osnovna Skola «Ivan Goran Kovacic» with two staff memebers for a five-day stay in Chorz·ªõw, between 9th and 13th May 2005. I also strongly believe that our students will be able to visit Slavonski brod in June 2005 for an equally period of time. I would be very glad if you could confirm the dates and conditions of your participation in the programme. The person responsible for further details on our side will be Mr. Pawel Sigulsky. I am sure his personal contacts with Mrs. Rozalija Baricevic will result in smooth cooperation between both institutions. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. Yours sincerely, |
