Each child received a red packet with a Chinese bill as Lilian explains in her email. It was so exciting!

Most of the money are one Yuan and five Jiao. Some are one Jiao and two Jiao. One kid has one sheet. In China one Yuan is ten Jiao

In Shaoguan we can buy an ordinary pencil or an ordinary rubber with one Jiao or two Jiao.

We can buy an ordinary exercise-book with five Jiao. We can buy an ordinary ruler with one Yuan.

In the Red Packet, there are some money for you. Three Yuan and Three Jiao. THREE is the lucky number for Chinese.

And the other lucky numbers are SIX, EIGHT and NINE.

THREE means up-growth. SIX means wealth fortune. EIGHT means enrichment. NINE means long ( All the good things will not end. )

Everyone in China pastes the placard on his door or on the wall during the Spring Festival because it means GOOD LUCK.

I sent more three red-packets. They are about Cai-Shen and Lion Dancing. One have the oranges that means GOOD LUCK.

Jiaozi, Cai-Shen, Lion Dancing, Red-packets and the placard are the most important thing in Spring Festival.

The kids must put the money in the Red-Packets because they will be the real Red-Packets by doing this.
