Israeli hummus

Dear Friends,

We are the fifth grade class at Ein Ganim School Israel and would like to tell you about our lunch. Since we do not have a cafeteria at school, we all bring sandwiches, snacks or fruit. It is common to see us carrying a bottle of water because it is still quite hot. These are the answers for your class. Israeli groceries and snacks

Here are our answers:

Dana and Michal: We are twins. We both take sandwiches with chocolate spread. We eat schnitzel and rice for lunch.

Ofir K: I take a sandwich with baloney and mayonnaise. For lunch I usually eat schnitzel and spaghetti.

Roei: I take a sandwich and I eat soup with chicken and hummus (Chickpeas that are chopped) a popular meal in Israel.

Tomer: I take a sandwich but sometimes I take a snack. I eat a salad for lunch.

Enav: I have a sandwich and an apple for school. I eat soup and chicken when I get back from school.

Daniel: I always take a sandwich with cheese and cucumbers. For lunch I eat meatballs and rice or pasta.

Sagi: I take a sandwich to school and for lunch I eat chicken and potatoes.

Idan: I take a sandwich and a snack for school. I eat schnitzel and noodles for lunch.

Nimrod: I bring a sandwich and snack to school. At lunchtime I eat soup and when I come home after school I am sure hungry!

Ofir : I eat a  schnitzel and salad for lunch and to school I have a sandwich with chocolate spread.

Guy: I take sandwiches to school and for lunch I eat many different things with schnitzel.

Shay: I take a sandwich and when I get home I have meatballs and noodles.

Snir: I take a sandwich and a snack to school. At home for lunch I have a hamburger and some rice.

Itamar: I take a sandwich and a cucumber to school. I eat many different things for lunch.

Yair: I take a sandwich with hummus and pastrami for school and I have soup, mashed potatoes and meatballs for lunch.

Aviv: I take a sandwich and fruit to school. For lunch I eat potatoes and schnitzel. Sometimes I eat different things.

Harel: I take a sandwich and a snack to school. I have soup and rice at home for lunch.

Paz: I take a sandwich and a snack to school and for lunch I have schnitzel and fries.

Ori: I love a sandwich with tuna salad and for lunch I have hot dogs or a salad.

Omer: I take a sandwich with cheese for school. I have schnitzel or pizza for lunch.

Hen: For breakfast I eat a sandwich and I drink a chocolate drink.

For lunch I eat a vegetarian hot - dog, a vegetarian kebab, and a vegetarian schnitzel.

Noa: I take a sandwich with cheese and also fruit with me to school. For lunch I have schnitzel and potatoes.

Yasmin: I take to school a sandwich and snack or fruit. For lunch I have pasta and schnitzel with ketchup. Sometimes I eat a salad.

Irad:  For school I usually eat pita bread and omelet and for lunch I usually eat food ( like schnitzel or tiny pasta or baked stuff...
