 Sorts of Olives
There are two varieties of olives:
- Edible olives
- Oil Production olives
In the edible there are sorts like Zuri, Nabali Baladi and Nubo.
In the oil production there are sorts like Barnea, Picuel and Maalot.
Importance
Past
The olive was used for the light in the holy temple, to anoint kings and for
religious ceromonies.
Today
 Olive Oil as a Spice
The olive oil is used a lot for cooking, soups, salads or frying.
Olive Oil and Health Issues
Olive oil is used to make the skin soft, improvement in growth and development
of children and olive oil soap.
