The olive is one of the seven spices, that are plants and fruits that grow in Israel, like olives, palms, and more. There are signs from 6000 years ago that show that olives grew in Israel. Tree fossils have been found as well as some fruit pits . It is a very healthy fruit and the oil comes from the olives is good for frying and as a spice. It was the best oil 2000 years ago. This plant was important in many places. In Greece, it was the tree of Atuna, the God Of Love. The olive oil was the oil that was lit the Temple, especially the second one that was in Israel. There
are many kind of olives tree and they are divided by the fruit kind.

Australia and many other places in the world, and today it is used especially
as a food. There are many colors of olives, Spain is good at making
green olives, and Greece is good at making black olives. |
