Riga's Pupils Palace

"Riga's Pupil Palace" was primary established as a state institution, but now it is a municipal office, which basic goals are

to give an opportunity for children to develop their intellectual skills, interests and talents, self-education and creative work, choice of profession reasonable and purposeful organisation of leisure time;
to develop methodical work, programs, teaching methods, acquire higher pedagogical skills as well as co-operation with children and youth organisations.

Main concern:

to teach children and young people in different specialised clubs;
to organise different out-of-school activities in Riga and Latvia (theatre performances, sport competitions, exhibitions, concerts etc.);
to take part in state-wide and international competitions, festivals etc.;
to organise summer camps both in local and international level;
to collaborate with children and young organisations;
to develop the specialised methodical work;
to join with similar youth organisations all over the world.
