I teach a group of 27 fifth grade students at Hillcrest Elementary in Ellsworth Wisconsin. Ellsworth is a town of 3000 located 50 miles east of the "Twin Cities" of Minneapolis and St Paul, Minnesota.Hillcrest is a K-5 school of  340 students. We are one of four elementary schools in the district. This is a dairy farming area although an increasing number of parents make the hour drive to St Paul for work. Most of my students are from a Scandinavian or German ethnic background. I guess we're typical midwesterners. We're looking forward to participating in Global Dreamers.

I forwarded a couple photos to you showing my class after our fall model rocket shoot.This is always a popular activity and this year was no  exception.The pictures are taken on the school playground directly in front of the school. My students  are enthusiastic about participating in your project and I hope they will continue to share their thoughts with other students on the topics suggested for discussion.Thanks for originating what is an outstanding project.
