Spring

Spring is a way for the earth to change,
It brings new life in many ways.
The sun melts away the snow,
Letting the grass come up and grow.

The rain comes down and down and down,
With it, new plants begin to show.
The flowers come up and bring the bees,
This brings children down to their knees.

The warm weather brings the animals out,
The birds chirp as the sun comes on.
The trees glisten in the dawn.
The sun is bright and the glasses are on.

The pool opens up,
The ice cream is thawed,
The ice rink is melted with great glee.
The kids come out to run and play,

Spring brings them out in every way!
