Spring

on an april day when the birds are singing
happiness this day is bringing
this could only be for one reason
it is spring my favorite season
baseball playing in fields and streets
picnics with plenty of food to eat
so when singing birds are all you can hear
it must mean it’s spring my favorite time of the year
