At Monday the 10.6.06 we
go to the Holocaust remembrance museum 'Yad -
Vashem', to see the awarding of the 'education
woman' prize to the teacher Marsha Goren. Marsha
got the prize because her initiative to built a web
about the Holocaust to remember her mom Sonia
Frankel a Holocaust survivor.
We all felt a little bit
nerves; to be in a museum is different from to be
in a park or a zoo, but to be in the Holocaust
museum is really different because it isn't 'just'
another museum it's a place that for 6 million died
people this is there biggest remembrance. 6 million
people that died in the most terrifying event that
happen in the history, the Holocaust.
Except Marsha there where
book, schools and students that got a prize. We
were very excited to see that the book 'Hanna
suitcase' was given a prize too, this book (by
Karen Levin) was really exciting. But when Marsha
got the prize we were proud. After that we did a
tour in Yad Vashem and it was really interesting.
